The location here is fantastic, just a short walk to a large market, and it's great to have restaurants and a cinema nearby too.

Had an excellent stay. Extremely newly opened (warning: SPA and roof bar still not open). Beautiful large rooms, excellent modern contemporay design. Bathrooms fantastic (japanese toilet, rainforest showers and enormous bathtub). WiFi for free. Quiet. Great location. Fantastic staff!!!
Everything excellent except that the roof bar wasnt open yet for business, but at the time you read this surely it is open.

Fabulous hotel with good staff from the doorman to the cleaners. Plenty of options and well-presented food. - Unbeatable setting; short walk to the very center of town, including Vaci Utca, Erzebet Bridge, and Buda Castle. - Excellent for visiting Vaci Street.

Located in the heart of the City
- Would not allow me to have the room key before 3pm after I checked in, so I had to wander the streets for 3 hours. The last thing I needed after a long overnight flight from Dubai via Qatar. - Rooms are far too dark and dingy. A theme too far. - I stayed in Room 101 next to the Buddha Bar hotel and could not sleep because of the loud music until 4am. - Spa and roof bar were closed. - Had to wait a long time to check out due to lack of staff - Complimentary water was only provided on the first day which is unusual for a '5-star hotel'. Dipped into the mini bar on the 2nd night for some water which was not replenished the next day.

originally im hungarian but have been living in the uk for 6 years. i now went back for only 2 days for business reasons and stayed in this hotel in room 410 (suit). design is fabulous, very warm and cozy. the 1.5 m x 1.5 m bath tub with the tropical rain shover is absolutely fantastic.upon arrival you get a voucher for a welcome drink at the bar, and welcome chocolate in the room. location is great, shopping street and christmas market is very nearby. this hotel is the best thing that has ever happened to me in hungary, and however i try to go back to my home country as rarely as possible, but if i have to go again, i will definitely be back to this hotel.
range of breakfast is rather 3 star, it could be seriously improved, comparing to other international 5 star hotels. more kinds of bread, more juices, more pastries, more yoghurts. could also have some hungarian particulars like kalács, túrórudi, etc. breakfast staff is very kind though, it is only the range of choice i can criticise.

I liked the unique design, the modern and spacious room. The multimedia TV was excellent. I have never met a hotel with a heated/ventillated/electronic toilet seat like this. We stayed only one night on our 6th wedding anniversary, but we will come back. It is romantic and discrete. You can close out the environment and can focus to your partner. It is completely in the city centre,in the middle of tha famous Váci street with many famous fashion brands. The subway station is in front of the hotel. Very attractive hotel, good value for your money.
Parking is not easy and unfortunately you cannot park directly at the hotel. There was a parking place not too far was offered by the staff. We found a free(weekend) parking place 100 meters away.

The rooms are top-class and romantic with excellent features. The hotel's super central location makes it an ideal base for discovering Budapest. It's based in a very nice area.

They charged my credit card twice for the minibar. I send them a couple of email to tell them that and they didn't even answer to my emails. This is something that is not happening with lower budget hotels but it seems that for Buddha Bar Hotel the idea of customer service is nonexistent.

Perfect Location right by the main shoping street and walking distance up to the Citadel but rooms are silent at night so no dramas of being woking up by outside noise. Stunning Rooms with brilliant room service, the toilet having a remote control was definetly a first! Ipods, iphones, laptops etc can be plugged into to the media system with excellent sound. Would avoid the mini bar in the rooms as there is a 24 hour convinience store driectly outside. All other aspects of the hotel are brilliant, would definetly reccomend.

Liked extensive breakfasts, and perfectly clean hotel.
Had a REALLY GOOD stay on the last night of our 3 day trip, would stay here again. Unbeatable location down to waterfront, well-trained staff, everything was really perfect. The room met requirements, well decorated and lovely modern with unique interior. Location: the hotel was short walk to the Buddha Bar for the food, restaurants, shops and the river and Budapest for a business trip.

Size of Corner Suite, and the bathroom with the giant bathtub was awesome.
Apart from reception area the staff were not engaging, didn`t say hi at corridors which made the place a little unfriendly.
